St Petroc's Bistro taster evening, Thursday 4th March
Join us for an evening of food and wine from St Petroc's Bistro when we combine chef demonstrations with an evening meal at our bistro.
The evening starts at 7pm at Padstow Seafood School where St Petroc's Bistro Head Chef Paul Harwood will be demonstrating three canapé dishes.
There will be tastings of all the dishes accompanied by a lovely glass of wine. Following the demonstration you will make your way up to St Petroc's Bistro for your two course meal.

Spring seasonal demo evening, Thursday 18th March
Join us for an evening of food, wine and tastings at the Padstow Seafood School and Stein's Deli for our seasonal demo evening.
The evening begins at 6pm at the school where you will be greeted with a glass of wine, then sit back and relax as you watch one of our chefs demonstrate three dishes. They'll be talking you through what's in season as well as sharing tips and techniques.
The deli will be open until 8.30pm where we will have a selection of tastings for you to enjoy. There will also be 10% off your purchases in the deli throughout the evening on presentation of your ticket.

Happy New Year to all our visitors old and new.
As an update we are currently carrying out a bathroom refit to the ground floor bathroom which will include new sanitaryware and a 1200mm wide shower tray to replace the bath. Once installed the room will be re tiled and decorated. For those who prefer a bath the first floor bathroom will remain as is (i.e. with a bath!).
Since the passing of Christmas day we have had a noticeable increase in enquiries and bookings with February Half Term, one week of the Easter break (week commencing 9th April still available), Obby Oss or May Day week, Whit Week and three of the summer weeks all being booked. As such, if your interested in booking now's the time to avoid disappointment.
One final note, if you are considering coming to Padstow and wish to dine at one of the many restaurants it is imperative that you book well in advance. Rick Stein's restaurants, Paul Ainsworth at Nr6 and Margot's are generally fully booked throughout the high season some months in advance. |

The 2010 availability and tariff for Harbour's Reach has now been published on the Padstow Cottage Company website.
We have a number of improvements scheduled for 2010 which include a complete upgrade to the ground floor bathroom to include removal of the existing suite and replacement with a 1200mm wide walk in shower, wc and basin. In addition, subject to availability, we are hoping to able to provide parking on the Lawn & Railway car parks.
High season weeks are expected to book quickly therefore an early visit is recommended to the site.

The Padstow Seafood School is part of Rick Steins business portfolio in Padstow and offers an insight into how cooks of all ability levels can create some of Ricks masterpieces from his many TV series books or indeed his restaurant dishes.
The day starts with an informal meet over the long dining table with spectacular views over the Camel Estuary across to Rock.
Each cookery course is hosted by one of Ricks chefs with two assistants who provide all the tools and ingredients required.
The days flows from demonstration by the chef to your preparation to tasting seamlessly with oodles of wine!

The Seafood School is located above Steins Fish & Chip Shop and Steins Deli which are around 300 yards away from the cottage along the quay.
